MediaStar Evolution

The IPTV Desktop Viewing Software (Part 761) control application software is an HTML-based software decoder designed for use with MediaStar Evolution Encoders (Part 772/5) and LAN-Casters (Part 773/4/6/7).

It provides easy MPEG-2/4 viewing at the PC desktop. The MediaStar Evolution 761 works in conjunction with the Evolution 780HD, Evolution 780SD and 760/2M for viewing MPEG-2 and MPEG-4 video streams, PowerPoint presentations (converted to HTML), JPEGs, PNGs and HTMLs on a PC screen.

The Viewer can be installed in one of two modes, Standalone and Server-Based. The Standalone mode does not require a server and the Server-Based mode does not require the end-user to install any software components.
