The 753 unit is a RS232 to IR interface to the MediaStar Compact Receiver Unit, (Part 751), providing an interface for RS232 commands from keypads, touch screen or PC workstation running the Compact software application. Viewers can channel select and adjust volume, assisted by an On Screen Display capability showing channel name and volume status to allow either RS232 or switch contact control.
